PASSPORTS LODGED WITH THE U.K. BORDER AGENCY
We are unable to contact the U.K. Border Agency on your behalf in order to expedite the return of your Australian passport. You will need to liaise directly with that agency concerning the return of your passport as we are unable to issue a further travel document to you.
If you book travel outside the United Kingdom for business or personal travel whilst your passport is with the UK Border Agency, you should be aware that there is no facility for you to be issued with another Australian passport or travel document.
If you need to travel urgently and you require the return of your passport, you will have to liaise directly with the UK Border Agency. Please be aware that your passport may not be released to you unless you provide written advice confirming that you wish to withdraw your visa application and you may also forfeit the application fee. You are advised to discuss these issues with the UK Border Agency.
